DESCRIPTION:Join the Scituate Chamber of Commerce for our upcoming State of the Town event on Thursday\, May 14 at the Scituate Community Center\, located at 44 Jericho Road in Scituate.\n\nThis important community conversation brings together local leadership\, business professionals\, residents\, and community members for updates on the future of Scituate\, ongoing town initiatives\, and economic development efforts impacting our community.\n\nDoors open at 8:30 AM for coffee\, light breakfast snacks\, and networking\, with the panel discussion beginning promptly at 9:00 AM. The program is expected to last approximately one hour.\n\nWe are grateful to Greg Morse of Morse Engineering for sponsoring the event and providing coffee and breakfast refreshments. The discussion will be moderated by Shelly Swanson\, Scituate Chamber Board Member.\n\nFeatured panelists include:\n\n  Jim Boudreau\, Town Administrator\n\n  Andrew Goodrich\, Chair of the Select Board\n\n  Berry Kurland\, Chair of Scituate's Economic Development Commission\n\nBerry Kurland will provide insight into the EDC's mission and ongoing efforts to develop a Place Branding and Marketing Strategy for Scituate\, helping shape the town's future growth and identity.\n\nCandidates running for town election have also been invited to attend.\n\nAttendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance for the panel and town candidates. Please note that the deadline to submit questions is Monday.\n\nAll are welcome\, and advance registration is encouraged so we can plan accordingly.\n\nWe hope you'll join us for this valuable and timely discussion focused on the future of our community.
