    Event Description:
    Scituate Arts Association announces a special fundraising event to be held during the season of the Summer Solstice, Saturday, June 24th at the Scituate Country Club. From 5-9 p.m. swing to the strains of Driftway Jazz while enjoying an evening of hors d’oeuvres coupled with fine art and the company of other art enthusiasts.  This year we’re introducing a new silent art auction:  “Art to Go” which will feature 8x10 works created and donated by area artists.  Starting at $50, bid on one or more you love and find out the creator when you claim the piece with your winning bid by evening’s end.  In addition, there will be live and silent auctions featuring an original oil painting created on site during the Soiree and donated by award-winning artist Vcevy Strekalovsky.  In addition to Vcevy’s work, the SAA will live auction works by SAA artists past & present, including awarding winning artists–Bob Beaulieu (beaulieudesign.com ), Sergio Roffo (sergioroffo.com) Betty Burke, Irwin Nesoff and Dick Copello.  The many Silent Auctions items will range from a Dine and Stay to 4 tickets to a Red Sox Game.

    Fees/Admission:
    Advance purchase is required no later than June 15.th  Donations for the event are $50 per person or $80 per couple.  Payment can be made online at SAA website using PayPal (Scituateart.com) or credit card or by check directly to the SAA mailing address:  PO Box 214, Scituate, MA 02066.  Proceeds from this event will be used towards the Ellis Restoration Fund and in support of the SAA’s ongoing community outreach including arts education and scholarships.
