Art Matters Book Group Sponsored by the Scituate Arts Association

The Scituate Arts Association Art Matters Book Group meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Front Street Gallery to discuss our latest book selection.  For January we do not have a book to read and discuss.  Instead we will view a film about 'Art Basel', the huge street art event held annually in Miami as well as in many other cities around the globe. In the film young, enthusiastic street artists speak about what drives them to create their masterpieces.  It's fascinating to learn that the same passions, methods and goals shared by the artists in our book selections from Michelangelo to Georgia O'Keeffe, are the same as those demonstrated by these contemporary masters.
